Read Now÷
Once Yamaraja got tired of punishing the sinful souls. He handed charge to his deputy and set out on an excursion. He wandered towards the planet earth, the home of the sinners.

He wanted to experience love which caused greatest of sins. He met a woman named Yamini in a town who got interested in him. They got married.

They were blessed with a son in a year. Now Yamini got busy with her baby. Her love of Yamaraja became weaker and weaker. She often quarrelled with him as she grew old.

To make a living Yamaraja opened a dispensary where he treated patients. It made good income. But Yamini' s nature did not change. She put such a scare into Yamaraja that even her voice made him tremble and hide under his table.

His son Yamaraja was a spoilt brat due to indulgence of his mother. Yamaraja got so fed up with his wife and son that he quietly slipped away to his home world, the hell.

Yamanandan had become an idler and a lazy fellow. His mother died of old age. He loafed around aimlessly.

One day, as Yamanandan was dozing off as his father, Yamaraja appeared to him in his dream to say, "Son! Run the dispensary properly. It is your only hope. I will help. Go to see patients. If you see me sitting on pillow side of the patients bed it would mean death. Refuse to treat. If you don't see me treat the patient. He would live."

Thus, Yamanandan became a famous uaid. The ones treated by him got well.

Once, princess of that city fell ill. At last, Yamanandan was asked to treat her. To his shock he found his father sitting by the pillow side of the princess. Yamanandan whispered to his father, "Dad! This patient is my ticket to success. Please leave."

Yamaraja spoke, "Son, death is inevitable. Her time is up. For you I will grant her a week more."

Yamanandan told the king, "For present she is okay. But I will tell you the definite situation only after a week."

One week later, Yamanandan found his father at pillow side of princess bed.

Suddenly an idea struck to Yamanandan. He called out, "Mother! You have been looking for father for ages! The father is here with me."

Yamaraja turned pale. He beat the hell out of there. The princess recovered fast. Yamanandan proudly announced that the princess was out of danger.

The king married the princess to Yamanandan.
